- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract BrainStep's underlying systems or data.
- Use BrainStep in any way that violates applicable law.
- Share your account access or use BrainStep on behalf of others without their knowledge.
Your content
The stories, memories, and conversations you share with BrainStep belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your content. We store it only to provide the service — specifically to power your Living Portrait, Memory Keeper, and cross-session continuity features.
You are responsible for the content you share. Do not share content that is illegal, harmful to others, or that violates the rights of third parties.
BrainStep Pro subscriptions
BrainStep Pro is a paid subscription available on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the rate selected at checkout.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but if you experience a technical issue that prevented you from using the service, contact us and we will make it right.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of BrainStep shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of BrainStep will be resolved in the courts of Louisiana.
